lexingtonlawreviewToday, millions of Americans are struggling with poor credit. Everything from late car payments to unpaid utility bills can be detrimental to your credit score. However, all is not lost. In most cases, you can repair your credit within a few short months.

Before you begin repairing your credit, make sure that you read over the Lexington law reviews. In some states, you may not be able to repair your credit without a little help. Once you know your states laws on repairing credit, start by creating a budget. At first, the thought of following a budget can be scary.

With a little motivation, following a preset budget can become second nature. Remember, a budget will help you pay off your debts.

Once you have a budget, calculate how much money you are spending each month. Cut out items that are unnecessary. Place the extra savings into your bank account. Next, request a copy of your credit report. Contact those creditors in which you are delinquent with. Ask about any repayment plans that may be available.

If an agreement is reached, get the details in writing. This will prevent any problems that may arise in the future. Finally, cut up any credit cards that are not a necessity. This will prevent you from spending frivolously.
