Supermarkets Should Discount Items Nearing Expiration

June 17, 2013

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Social Power for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

This certainly I can relate. As well as most, if not all consumers out there. You included. Am I right? This is the thing I hate most about supermarkets.

Some may put items nearing expiration for sale but for how much? Barely noteiceable I must say. These shoulud be put off at 50% discounts. I just hate it when I get to buy something and later finding out the expiration is only a few days away.

True, I have to check the expiration dates but there are many who buy items without even looking at those dates. If supermarkets really value us customers, then they should also help us by giving us the best values available, not deceiving us.

Well, we cannot force them anyway but through Social Power’s social media way, maybe we can.

Social Power is the platform that harnesses the untapped power of social media to resolve everyday issues, both big and small.

It is quite simple. Visit the website, kick off an issue, share it socially, then when there is enough support, they coordinate with the people who can help hammer out a resolution.

Just like this Supermarket Issue, this can become a reality if we all help out and spread the news around.

Watch the video to learn more about how to create new issues that can be possibly be resolved through the power of social media.

Social Power is the platform that harnesses the untapped power of social media to resolve everyday issues, both big and small. Social Power enables every individual to resolve issues that as an individual they never could have achieved alone. These resolutions can come in the form of a price reduction, a better product, service, or experience. How awesome is that?!

Young children experience many conflicts as they go about distinguishing their rights from those of others around them. The simple recognition that others have rights is a significant part of the socialization process. Children need considerable guidance to help them identify when their actions are likely to result in conflict with others and to learn strategies for avoiding it. Providing opportunities for students to explain their point of view can lead to new insights for children and teachers alike. Role playing and discussion of various situations involving conflict may also help.
